I had this thread post some years ago, (But can’t find it here now?)
I made the thread to help people understand the changes Honda made through the years of the 2001-2017 GL1800 Model.

The Rear Shock had three versions.

Version one. 2001-2005 (Red Label) Shock label number. MCA-003
Version two. 2006-2010 (Black Label) Shock Label number. MCA-A61 (Re-valved for a better compression)
Version three. 2012-2017 (Blue label) Shock Label number. MCA-S41 (Re-valved for the Best ride of all 3 versions)
